MyLLife is actively working on programs to benefit the community and are in need of funds. We are currently working on the following programs: the continuation of our MyLLife Scholars Program which gives graduate & undergraduate students the opportunity to receive a Public Policy Scholarship, general Refugee Support for incoming Refugees in the DC Metro area, and increasing the number of internships at MyLLife to accelerate our work. Our Causes & Programs

MyLLife has undertaken several initiatives in 2023:

MyLLife Scholars Program: We want to expand our MyLLife Scholars Program to be able to grant 30+ scholarships in 2024. In 2023, we supported MyLLife Scholars throughout their internships at the Department of Justice, the Crime & Justice Institute, Reprieve (an international human rights organization based in London), the Hispanic Bar Association of DC, and more! We are also increasing our outreach to several other universities, such as George Washington and Georgetown. Please see the profiles of our 2023 MyLLife Scholars Cohort here.

Journey into the Qur'an Weekly Discussions: In 2023, we launched our Journey into the Qur'an Weekly Discussions on Zoom, creating a diverse and inclusive space for spiritual exploration and interfaith dialogue. Every Friday evening, individuals from various locations around the globe gather for an hour of deep learning and meaningful conversations about the Qur'an's teachings. In the past year, we've seen incredible growth, witnessing moments of insight and friendship. Now, our goal for 2024 is to expand our reach and increase attendance.

"MyLLife Digest" Monthly Newsletters: In the past year, MyLLife has embarked on a new journey through our monthly newsletter, "MyLLife Digest." This digital publication has become a vibrant tapestry of wisdom, thought-provoking insights, and diverse perspectives.

Economic & Social Injustice Program: In 2023, MyLLife took a bold step by ramping up our Economic & Social Injustice Program, addressing the pervasive economic and social injustices prevailing in our society. We delved into the heart of the matter, questioning the allocation of wealth generated by major corporations. We've embarked on a mission to challenge this imbalance, exploring the intricacies of corporate law and societal norms that perpetuate this disparity. In 2024, we're committed to expanding our research, generating more insightful content, and fostering a collective dialogue aimed at reshaping the economic landscape.
