All of us at MyLLife are pleased to showcase one of our 2025 MyLLife Scholars, Ayla Ahmed!
My name is Ayla Ahmed and I am a rising 2L at Fordham University School of Law. Before law school, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Business in 2019, and worked at Google in advertising sales for five years. This summer, I am interning at the New York Attorney General's Office, in the Bureau of Internet and Technology. I am working on various research and writing assignments aimed at protecting consumers from online threats, an issue I became very interested in from my previous career in Big Tech.
I am so grateful to be a part of the MyLLife cohort, and really resonate with its mission of building community through learning. This scholarship has enabled me to participate in my public interest internship this summer, and continue to work towards my goals of using the law to promote justice for all. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and look forward to meeting more like-minded scholars through MyLLife.
As 2025 comes to a close, we invite you to join us in building toward a stronger 2026. With your support, MyLLife continues to empower Muslim, immigrant, and minority communities through education, research, and opportunity. This year, our fundraising goal is $100,000, which will directly sustain and expand our two core initiatives: MyLLife Scholars Program and Economic & Social Justice Program (ESJP).
