Qur’an in Chronological Order

Qur’an in Chronological Order

Here we present the Entire Qur’an in the chronological order of revelations. While a chapter may contain verses revealed at different time and in different places, we have maintained the completeness of each chapter as either Makkan or Madinan based on two facts –

  1. Majority of the verses in the Chapter are from the particular time period
  2. Historically this is how these chapters has been codified as Makkan or Madinan.

We have shown key Arabic terms that would be useful for the reader to become familiar with.  These Arabic terms are shown in parenthesis, in Italics and in red color.  Notes and glossaries of terms provide nuanced meaning of these important Arabic terms.
