MyLLife Scholars 2024 Cohort Spotlight: Zanib Razzaq

Our team at MyLLife is excited to introduce one of our 2024 MyLLife Scholars Cohort members, Zanib Razzaq!

My name is Zanib Razzaq and I am a rising 2L at Seton Hall University School of Law. Before law school, I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science. I currently serve as the Law Student Liaison for the New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Association (“NJMLA”), a volunteer organization advancing the goals, needs, and interests of Muslim judges, attorneys, and law students. NJMLA also promotes Muslim participation in public service, bringing attention to issues affecting the local and national community. This summer, I will be interning at the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, as a judicial intern. I look forward to attending various trials, researching interesting caselaw, and interacting with judges and attorneys.

I chose to apply for the MyLLife Scholarship because many of my own values align with those of this organization. MyLLife’s mission of strengthening the Muslim community and beyond through service and civic engagement particularly resonates with me. I believe it is essential to contribute one’s skills and ideas for the betterment of society. By actively participating in community service and fostering civic engagement, we can create an advanced and supportive environment for everyone. The MyLLife Scholarship will enable me to achieve my goals without having to worry about finances.
