All of us at MyLLife are excited to introduce our 2026 Civics Fellow, Jessica Vasquez-Luna!
Jessica "Jess" Vasquez-Luna, is an Economics student at George Mason University. As a Northern Virginia native shaped by community-centered work, she has built her academic and professional path around understanding how economic systems, social policy, and lived experience intersect, and how research can be used to strengthen equity, opportunity, and community well-being.
Her background spans food security coordination, memory care programming, strategic communications, and community-based research. Through the Civic Fellowship with GMU's Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning, she is serving as an Economic & Social Justice Research Fellow with MyLLife Inc for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
She chose MyLLife because its mission aligns with her commitment to building systems that reflect dignity, representation, and the realities of marginalized communities
