All of us at MyLLife are pleased to introduce one of our MyLLife Scholars 2024 Cohort members, Kia Azadbakht!
My name is Kia Azadbakht, and I am a rising 2L at Harvard Law School and a 2021 graduate from the University of Virginia. This summer, I am serving as a summer law clerk at the National Association of Attorneys General, a nonpartisan, national organization providing a community for attorneys general and their staff to collaboratively address issues important to their work, as well as offering training and resources to support their offices. My work includes assisting counsel on various projects to advance their mission.
I am incredible grateful for the opportunity to join the MyLLife Scholars community and further promote its core values of equality, justice, freedom, and education. As a first-generation American, I am committed to giving back to this country for all it has provided me. This interest has steered me towards public service, and I have served the larger community through my work on Capitol Hill and at the U.S. Department of Justice. The MyLLife Scholarship will significantly reduce the financial barriers to achieving my goals, allowing me to focus on pursuing opportunities that most effectively improve the lives of others without the constant worry of funding them.
