- Ilhan Omar, a Somali born two term Democratic incumbent from Minnesota won her primary against fellow democrat – Daniel… She has been part of the Squar, a group of “progressive democrats” who have been very vocal about US complicity in Gaza Genocide by the state of Israel. The super PAC, United Democracy Project, the political arm of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee has been active in defeating other members of the Squad but refrained from injecting money against Representative Omar. - Gaza continues to bleed with 40,000+ dead and 90,000+ wounded from Israeli bombing, military operation and violence perpetrated by settlers in and around West bank. Gazans are on the brink of catastrophic hunger for lack of food delivery and multiple displacements ordered by Israeli military. On top of that there has been a out-break of polio due to polluted water and other unhygienic condition perpetuated by Israeli indiscriminate bombing and restricting access for food and other daily necessities. - While Ukraine pushed into Russian territories on the north-east frontier, there has been escalation of drone and bombing by Russian in and around Kiev. The continuing human tragedy in broad daylight and our collective incapacity to protect human lives are appalling in many parts of the world. - Article link
